I’m in the process of migrating my home Licorn® server. I will reinstall it with
swap on a SSD for greater speed and responsiveness, and upgrade the OS from Ubuntu
Precise for the
LTS features and support.
In the same time, I will switch all running services to SSL only (at last!). This includes
postfix (which is not accessible from the outside, but playing with SSMTP will not kill anyone).
The SSL certificates and keys are already done and installed in
dovecot, thanks to TinyCA2. So sad I can’t reboot my router remotely to use this new 993 thing…
